This 4-part model, 5X life-size, shows the human diencephalon: all the main parts of talamus, epithalamus, metathalamus and hypothalamus are represented in great ditail. The hypothalamic nuclei are displayed in different colours; the thalamus is removable and divisible into two parts to show the inner anatomy
